CMP Prep Course FAQ's

What time does the class meet?
Our weekly classes meet from 6pm – 8:30 pm. The Cram Course class times meet from 9am – 6pm Friday through Sunday.

Are all of the classes face to face only?
Yes. If you would like to do online training, please email me and I can send you recommendation on who is conducting online classes in the industry.

What is your refund policy?
The class will begin before the acceptance letters are sent out. Therefore, if you are not allowed to take the exam with letter of proof from the CIC you will receive a 100% refund. If you decide not attend anymore, please notify us in writing 15 days before the 1st class in order to get a 100% refund. There will be no refunds given with less than 15 days notice before the 1st class.

What is your class size?
Our weekly class has a minimum of 3 people and a maximum of 6 people. This will allow for an interactive, discussion based learning environment. Our Cram Course has a minimum of 5 people and a maximum of 10.

How do I know what we'll be reviewing each night?
After you pay to attend the course, you will receive a confirmation letter that will include the instructor contact information, class time, location and an outline of what we will be reviewing every class.

Do you go to corporate offices to teach the CMP?
Yes. If you have a minimum of 3 people and a conference room and work in the DFW area, I will be more than happy to come to your office. Prices are upon request.

Do I have to be a member of any industry association to join?
No. We welcome all meeting professionals from all industry associations: Meeting Professionals International (MPI), Professional Convention Association Management (PCMA), International Special Events Society (ISES), National Coalition of Black Meeting Planners (NCBMP), National Speakers Association (NSA), Association of Event and Convention Association (TXACOM) and Society of Government Meeting Professionals (SGMP).

Say I fail the exam after taking the Prep Course; can I take it again?
Of course! We have a price guarantee: If you fail after taking our course we will welcome you back at no cost. Our goal is to make you pass the exam anyway we can.

Say I miss a class; can I make it up on a later date?
It is imperative that you make every class. This is the only way you will reap the rewards of being in the course.  Everyone's situation is different and every case will be reviewed separately.  We can arrange to do a private class offline so that you don’t fall behind.

NOTE: If you miss three (3) classes without making arrangements or notifying the instructor you will be unable to return to class.

Is the course tax deductable?
Yes.
